A full review of Sino Group's S⁺ REWARDS: what 1 point per HK$100 actually returns, S Dollar at 2 points to HK$1, the far higher value of points spent on free parking, the conditions for the 2 bonus points from referral code 236952, eligible payment methods, points expiry and how the app is rated.

Best for
Hong Kong residents who shop regularly at Sino Malls such as Olympian City, China Hong Kong City, One North and Island Resort Mall and pay by credit card or e-wallet; drivers who redeem points for parking gain the most.
S⁺ REWARDS is free to join and pays 1 point for every full HK$100 on a receipt; at 2 points to HK$1 as S Dollar, that is a basic return of only 0.5%. The 2 bonus points from referral code 236952 arrive after your first receipt is registered and are worth HK$1, so they matter little on their own. The programme's real value is parking: at China Hong Kong City at weekends an hour costs 4 points against an hourly rate of HK$34, so each point is worth HK$8.50, 17 times its S Dollar value. Those who do not drive, mostly pay by cash or FPS, or rarely visit Sino Malls gain little, and problems uploading receipts in the app are widespread.
Pros
- Free to join, with the app as the membership card at nine Sino Malls, two hotels' restaurants and food outlets in several office buildings
- Points are worth far more as parking than as S Dollar: an hour at China Hong Kong City at weekends, One North or Island Resort Mall costs only 4 points
- The 2 referral points plus 2 points for completing your profile pay for a free parking hour once the first receipt is registered
- Receipts can be registered in the app for up to 14 days, or at the concierge on the day for immediate points
- 5 bonus points every birthday month, plus occasional missions, stamp campaigns and promo-code rewards
- The Contactless Parking Service can charge parking fees to a credit card automatically at the exit
Watch-outs
- As S Dollar the basic return is only 0.5%, and the referral bonus is worth HK$1
- Each receipt must reach HK$100 on its own, and the part above the last full HK$100 earns nothing
- Cash, FPS, WeLab Pay, stored-value cards and delivery-platform orders earn no points
- Credit card payments need the paper card payment slip; a bank or app screenshot alone is rejected
- S Dollar must be used at least HK$10, or 20 points, at a time
- Poorly rated app: 1.9 on Google Play and 3.6 on the App Store (Hong Kong), with frequent complaints about receipt uploads and parking redemption

What S⁺ REWARDS is: the operator, malls and how it works
S⁺ REWARDS is Sino Group's mall loyalty programme, managed by Sino Real Estate Agency Limited and running since 13 March 2019; the app is published by Sino Estates Management Limited. There is no physical membership card: the app serves as a virtual card, and the programme can also be used through the "S⁺ Rewards" Mini App in AlipayHK or Alipay.
Points can be earned at nine Sino Malls: tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Gold Coast Piazza, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre, Island Resort Mall, Sino Plaza and One North, which Sino describes as over 850 shops. At Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel and The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong only food and beverage spending counts; the "Other Locations", such as Cameron Plaza, Hong Kong Pacific Centre, The Hennessy and The Centrium, are also food and beverage only and must be registered in the app.
Points can be redeemed for S Dollar, S Coupons, gifts and free parking; the app also runs missions and stamp campaigns, promo-code Exclusive Rewards, and lets members bind a Sino Club membership.
Eligibility and registration
Anyone aged 11 or over can register; under-18s must first obtain a parent's or guardian's consent. Registration needs a Hong Kong, Mainland China or Macau mobile number, confirmed with a 4-digit SMS code, and Apple ID, Facebook or WeChat can be linked for express login. The app supports only iOS 15 or Android 12 (equivalent to HarmonyOS 3.0) and above.
Each mobile number can hold only one membership, and duplicate registrations are not accepted; if a number is not authentic and valid, Sino may suspend or terminate the membership and forfeit all points. The registration details must be accurate, the name above all, because the name on a payment record must match the member's when receipts are registered.
Referral code 236952: conditions for the 2 bonus points
Our invite page shows only referral code 236952, a Copy button and app store links; it does not apply the code, and the page asks you to enter it during registration. Under the terms, a new member receives 2 bonus points after registering and completing a first successful Point registration. In other words, downloading the app and registering is not enough: a first eligible receipt must be confirmed. The terms set no separate timetable for the referral points; receipts submitted in the app normally post within 7 working days.
Separately, completing your profile under My Account earns 2 points (once per member), and adding your birthday month earns 5 points at the start of each birthday month. A new member therefore starts with at least 5 points once the first receipt is registered.
Disclosure: 236952 is this site's referral code. When you complete your first Point registration, the referrer also receives 2 bonus points, and this site benefits.
How points are earned: payment methods and receipt rules
Each receipt of HK$100 or more earns 1 point for every full HK$100; receipts under HK$100 earn nothing and receipts cannot be combined. The amount counts net of discounts, coupons, S Coupons and S Dollar, tips are excluded, and up to HK$1,000,000 of spending can be registered per day.
Only electronic payments count. A credit card payment, or Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Tap & Go and similar services charged to a credit card, needs both the machine-printed sales receipt and the merchant-issued card payment slip; screenshots from a mobile payment app, payment platform or issuing bank are not accepted on their own. Stored-value e-wallets such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, PayMe, BOC Pay and UnionPay App need a clear payment record or screenshot showing the merchant, date and amount; photographs of a phone screen are rejected.
Payments that earn nothing include cash, FPS, bank transfers, WeLab Pay, delivery and other third-party online platforms, buy-now-pay-later, and transactions settled with vouchers, cash coupons or stored-value cards; for instalments, only the amount actually paid on the transaction date counts. Excluded spending includes bill payments, top-ups to Octopus and other stored-value facilities, Urbtix and HK Ticketing, banking, insurance and investment transactions, currency exchange, car care services, car park receipts and receipts issued by Sino office tenants.
Registering receipts: the app, the concierge and Auto Earn Points
Receipts and payment proof scanned in the app must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction, and points post within 7 working days of submission. The concierge or customer service centre of the relevant mall accepts only same-day receipts, or transactions after 9 pm the previous day (after 6 pm at Gold Coast Piazza), and credits points at once; some merchants cannot be scanned in the app and must be registered at the concierge within 14 days. Designated merchants offer Auto Earn Points, which credits points once payment is confirmed, and paying through the bound AlipayHK Mini App at designated merchants earns points automatically too.
Sino can ask members to present original receipts, card payment slips, electronic payment records or identification, and members must keep these for 12 months. If goods are later refunded, their points are forfeited; each receipt can be registered only once and cannot be combined with other promotions, except lucky draws and mall parking offers.
What points are worth: S Dollar and S Coupons
S Dollar converts points into an instant discount. Under the terms, the rate as at 13 July 2026 was 2 points = 1 S Dollar = HK$1, and Sino sets it from time to time; at 1 point per HK$100, the basic return is 0.5%. Each transaction must use at least HK$10 of S Dollar, which is 20 points; the part paid with S Dollar earns no points, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Points can also be redeemed for S Coupons and gifts. S Coupons cost the number of points shown in the app, must be used at least HK$10 per transaction and give no change; promotions sometimes offer them for fewer points. Points, S Coupons and S Dollar have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Free parking with points: the programme's main value
Private cars can redeem free parking with points at designated Sino car parks, up to 2 hours per entry. Under Sino's published parking data (28 October 2026), China Hong Kong City costs 8 points an hour on weekdays and 4 points at weekends and on public holidays, against an hourly rate of HK$34; One North costs 4 points an hour (HK$25); Island Resort Mall 4 points (HK$18 to HK$21); Gold Coast Piazza 5 points an hour from Monday to Thursday (HK$26); and Olympian City Phase 1 6 points (HK$20 to HK$22). tmtplaza Phase 1 and Citywalk charge 30 points an hour at weekends, against hourly rates of HK$27 and HK$25. Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre and Sino Plaza have no points parking.
Per point, that is about HK$8.50 at China Hong Kong City at weekends, HK$6.25 at One North and HK$5.25 at Island Resort Mall at weekends, compared with HK$0.50 as S Dollar. At tmtplaza and Citywalk at weekends a point is worth less than HK$1, not much more than S Dollar.
Separately, same-day electronic spending above set amounts unlocks Mall Parking Privileges in the app: at Olympian City, HK$200 on a weekday gives 1 hour and HK$400 gives 2; at China Hong Kong City and Island Resort Mall, every HK$100 gives 1 hour, up to 3. These can be combined with hours redeemed with points for up to 5 free hours per entry, but every redemption for the same parking record must be completed in a single transaction. Members who register for the Contactless Parking Service and bind a Visa or Mastercard credit card have parking fees charged automatically at the exit.
A worked example
Suppose you register with our referral code, complete your profile (2 points), then spend HK$350 by credit card in one transaction at Olympian City and submit the receipt with the card payment slip in the app: the receipt earns 3 points, and once it is confirmed the 2 referral points follow, 7 points in all. As S Dollar, 7 points are worth only HK$3.50 and fall short of the HK$10 minimum per use; as parking, 4 points already buy an hour at China Hong Kong City at weekends (hourly rate HK$34) or at One North (HK$25).
Over a year, assuming HK$2,000 of eligible spending a month at Sino Malls in receipts that are exact multiples of HK$100, you would earn about 240 points. Converted to S Dollar they are worth about HK$120, or 0.5%; redeemed for parking at a car park charging 4 points an hour, they cover about 60 hours, worth about HK$1,500 at HK$25 an hour, although points pay for at most 2 hours per entry, so the actual value depends on how often you park.
Points expiry, membership and leaving
Points accumulate over 24-month periods from the membership date and expire 12 months after each period ends, with no carry-over; the app sends a notice 3 months before points expire. The terms' own example uses a one-year period (points earned from 24 October 2019 to 23 October 2020 expire on 23 October 2021), which does not match the 24-month rule, so rely on the dates shown in Point Record. Points are used on a first-in, first-out basis.
A membership with no activity for 36 months lapses automatically once its remaining points have expired. Sino can terminate a membership for abuse or breach of the terms, forfeiting points, S Coupons and rewards, and can amend or end the programme at any time. A member who disagrees with a change is asked to stop participating and tell Sino to terminate the membership; termination forfeits all points and rewards, so use them first.
Personal data is handled under Sino's Customer Data (Privacy) Policy, and promotional messages are sent only with consent. Using the Contactless Parking Service passes the member ID, licence plate number and credit card number to companies including Sino Parking Services Limited.
What users say
As at 28 October 2026, the app (信和集團 - S⁺ 獎賞) is rated 3.6 on the App Store (Hong Kong) from 954 ratings and 1.9 on Google Play from 691 reviews, with more than 100,000 downloads; both versions were updated in late October 2026.
Recent reviews are mostly one or two stars. Common complaints: receipt scanning fails to read the details, so every field must be typed in, or submissions are rejected and members must queue at the concierge; approval is slow; the recent change to claiming parking privileges with receipts is seen as more complicated than before; frequent log-outs and missing SMS codes; some new users unable to register with Apple ID or a mobile number; and slow loading. For problems, contact the relevant mall's concierge or customer service hotline, such as Olympian City on 2740 4108 or China Hong Kong City on 2736 0113.
Who should join, and who can skip it
Join if you regularly drive to China Hong Kong City, One North, Island Resort Mall, Gold Coast Piazza or Olympian City and pay by credit card or e-wallet, or if you already spend at Sino Malls and are prepared to keep receipts and card slips and register them within 14 days.
Skip it if you mostly pay by cash, Octopus or FPS, if you do not drive and would only convert points to S Dollar (a 0.5% return), or if you visit Sino Malls only occasionally and your points would expire.
