How to claim
- Open the Extrabux invite link on this page. It records the referral in your browser for 7 days, so create the account in the same browser within that period.
- Register with an email address, Google or Facebook (or a mobile number in the countries and regions Extrabux lists). The US$20 welcome bonus appears in the account immediately, marked as locked.
- Before each purchase, search for the store on Extrabux, empty that store's shopping cart, disable ad-blocking software and enter the store from its Extrabux page. Add items only after clicking through, complete payment in the same browsing session and use only coupon codes listed on Extrabux.
- Before ordering, read the cash back terms on the store page to confirm whether orders delivered to Hong Kong or to a forwarding address qualify.
- Confirm within 1 to 7 days that the order shows as Pending. If it has not appeared after 7 days, submit a Missing Cash Back claim with the order confirmation.
- Each time tracked cash back reaches the next threshold, US$5 is released: US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40 for accounts registered on or before 31 December 2026, with at least four separate purchases within 180 days of joining. Super Cash Back does not count towards the thresholds.
- Once the return period, usually 90 days, has passed, the cash back and any released bonus become Available. When US$10 is Available, including one confirmed purchase with more than US$1 in cash back, a payment may be requested by PayPal or e-gift card.
Eligibility & requirements
- New Extrabux members only, with one account per person. Accounts may not be combined, and Extrabux may withhold cash back or bonuses it associates with fraud, duplicate accounts or unusual activity.
- The bonus must be released within 180 days of joining. Accounts registered between 20 October and 31 December 2026 release US$5 each when tracked cash back reaches US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40, with at least one, two, three and four purchases respectively; accounts registered outside that period face thresholds of US$25, US$50, US$75 and US$100.
- Super Cash Back, the additional rate Extrabux offers at some stores, does not count towards the thresholds.
- Cash back is tracked only when you enter the store through Extrabux with cookies enabled and an empty cart, order within 24 hours of the click and use no coupon code from outside Extrabux. Gift cards, returns, cancelled orders and items a store excludes earn nothing.
- Some stores restrict cash back by location or delivery address; check the store's cash back terms before shipping to Hong Kong or through a forwarding service.
- All payments are made in US dollars, from US$10 Available. Members outside the United States may choose PayPal or an e-gift card; the Amazon.com e-gift card can be used only on Amazon.com, and cheques and ACH transfers are limited to the United States.
- An account with no activity for 365 consecutive days forfeits its balance.

- No. The US$20 appears in the account at once but remains locked; it is released US$5 at a time as tracked cash back reaches each threshold within 180 days of joining. Each released amount must then wait for the store's return period to end before it can be withdrawn.
- Which set of thresholds applies?
- That depends on the registration date. Accounts registered between 20 October and 31 December 2026 use Extrabux's 20th-anniversary thresholds of US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40 in cash back; accounts registered outside that period must reach US$25, US$50, US$75 and US$100. Each stage also requires one more purchase than the stage before.
- How much must be spent to release the bonus?
- That depends on each store's rate. At 5%, spending US$100 (about HK$784) earns US$5, enough for the first anniversary stage, and the full US$20 requires about US$800 (about HK$6,270) across at least four orders. At 2%, the same stages require US$250 and US$2,000 respectively.
