An Anytime Mailbox review written for Hong Kong residents: monthly fees and allowances at the five Hong Kong addresses and in the United States, Form 1583 and identity document requirements, storage, forwarding and other charges, the US$10 Amazon.com gift card after a paid sign-up through the referral link, and when the service is or is not suitable.

Best for
Hong Kong residents with US banking, brokerage or tax correspondence who need a US mailing address, and operators of small businesses who prefer a business address to their home address for post.
Anytime Mailbox is a software platform; each address is run by an independent local mail centre, which sets its own prices. The five Hong Kong addresses range from HK$88 to HK$550 a month, while a US address in Wilmington, Delaware starts at US$9.99 a month. A paid sign-up through the referral link, kept active for three months, earns a US$10 (about HK$78) Amazon gift card, but it can be used only on Amazon.com and is of limited value. With light use, three months of a US address including the online notary costs about US$66 (about HK$515) plus postage; three months of a Hong Kong address starts at HK$264 and requires no notarisation. Whether to sign up should depend on the use of the address itself, not on the gift card.

What the service is and how it operates
Anytime Mailbox is operated by Bugo LLC of Henderson, Nevada, as a software platform; it does not handle mail itself. Each address is run by an independent mail centre, such as a business centre or a postal services shop. When an item arrives, the operator photographs the envelope or parcel label and uploads it to your account, after which you may ask through the app or website for it to be opened and scanned, forwarded anywhere in the world, shredded, recycled or held for collection.
Because the operators are independent, prices, allowances and services differ by address. Anytime's renter terms state that problems with the handling of mail must be pursued directly with the operator, and the platform's own liability is capped at the greater of US$500 or the fees paid in the six months before the incident. Important documents should be scanned promptly and the originals retrieved.
Practical uses for Hong Kong residents
A US address mainly serves those who already have dealings in the United States: statements from a US bank or brokerage, US tax correspondence, or goods that ship only to US addresses and are then forwarded to Hong Kong. Anytime itself advises against using the address as the official address for a US limited liability company, the Internal Revenue Service or a bank before confirming that it is accepted, and does not recommend it for a Google Business Profile.
A Hong Kong address is suited to business correspondence that keeps a home address private; the operators offer separate business plans at HK$480 to HK$550 a month. None of these addresses is a residential address, and none should be given where a bank or other institution asks where you live.
Fees at the five Hong Kong addresses
On 24 October 2026 Anytime listed five addresses in Hong Kong, three in Kowloon and two on Hong Kong Island. The least expensive is BIG BOX on Wong Chuk Street, Kowloon: the Bronze plan costs HK$88 a month or HK$888 a year for 30 incoming items and 5 scanned pages a month, then HK$3 per item and HK$2 per page, with forwarding at HK$25 a time plus postage and 30 days' free storage. Silver costs HK$168 a month for 60 items and Gold HK$288 for 125.
The Essential plan at House of Corona in Kwun Tong costs HK$149 a month for 15 incoming items and 5 scans a month, with forwarding at HK$5 a bundle and collection at HK$25 a visit. The Mail Boxes Etc. standard plans on Shing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, and Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, each cost HK$360 a month for 30 items with unlimited scanning, and the standard plan on Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, costs HK$430 a month with unlimited incoming mail.
How US addresses are priced
US addresses are likewise priced by their operators. At TKO Suites, 300 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware, Bronze costs US$9.99 a month or US$109.99 a year for 30 incoming items; Silver US$14.99 for 60; Gold US$29.99 for 125; and Unlimited US$69.99. Every plan charges US$1 per scanned page and US$5 per forwarding bundle plus postage, includes two named recipients and adds US$10 a month for each additional person.
The additional charges deserve attention: US$1 for each item over the allowance, US$0.30 per item shredded, and, after 20 days' free storage, US$0.60 per letter per day, while small boxes are charged US$3 a day after 7 free days. Some addresses offer cheque deposit, for example Newark, Delaware at US$10 a cheque; Wilmington does not.
Identity verification and Form 1583
Every sign-up requires identity documents to be uploaded. A US address also requires USPS Form 1583, which authorises the mail centre to receive mail on your behalf and must be notarised. The form needs two documents: a photo identity document, for which Hong Kong residents should use a passport (the accepted list does not include the Hong Kong identity card, and foreign documents must be in English), and proof of current address, such as a tenancy agreement, mortgage document, or home or motor insurance policy. Utility bills, credit cards and birth certificates are not accepted, which differs from the usual practice of Hong Kong institutions.
Notarisation can be completed by video call within the sign-up process, and the form is then sent directly to Anytime; its guide estimates a remote notarisation fee of about US$25. The terms allow up to five business days for verification, during which mail addressed to an unverified person may be returned. Hong Kong and other non-US addresses do not require Form 1583.
The referral reward: a US$10 Amazon gift card
Signing up through the referral link, choosing an address and plan and paying at checkout constitutes what Anytime calls an eligible transaction. The US$10 Amazon gift card is normally issued within about 24 hours and at most two weeks, and you must remain a paying customer for at least three months. Cancelled, refunded or reversed sign-ups do not count, each new account may receive one reward, and Anytime may substitute a reward of equal value or end the programme at any time.
The gift card is an Amazon.com gift card in US dollars. It can be used only on Amazon.com, and a redeemed balance cannot be moved to another country's Amazon site. At HK$7.8 to the US dollar it is worth about HK$78, and it has real value only if you already shop on Amazon.com.
Disclosure: this is our own referral link, and when your sign-up qualifies we also receive a US$10 Amazon gift card.
A three-month cost example
Take Wilmington Bronze on monthly billing, since the gift card requires three consecutive paid months: US$29.97 for the plan, about US$25 for the online notary, US$6 to scan six pages and US$5 to forward one bundle, which totals about US$66 before postage, or about HK$515 at HK$7.8 to the US dollar. The gift card offsets only about HK$78.
If a Hong Kong address is all you need, Wong Chuk Street Bronze costs HK$264 for three months, with no notarisation and 5 scanned pages included each month; for a full year, the annual fee of HK$888 works out at HK$74 a month. US Bronze on annual billing costs US$109.99, or about US$9.17 a month.
Payment, refunds and cancellation
Anytime accepts only Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards; PayPal is not accepted. US addresses are billed in US dollars, so paying with a Hong Kong dollar credit card may incur a foreign currency transaction fee, whereas Hong Kong addresses are priced in Hong Kong dollars. Fees may change at any time, and Anytime makes reasonable efforts to give notice.
The minimum term is one month, and the account is closed from Settings. A full refund is available only within 30 days of sign-up and only if the account has never been used; thereafter, or once mail has been received, no refund is given, and a refund also cancels the gift card. After closure the operator holds mail for up to six months, possibly subject to storage fees; you must stop using the address, failing which Anytime may bill the plan rate plus 50% for each month of continued use. Data is deleted 30 days after the account becomes inactive, so scans should be downloaded first.
User ratings
On 24 October 2026 the Anytime Mailbox app was rated 2.4 from 110 ratings on the US App Store and 2.9 from 261 reviews on US Google Play; the Hong Kong app stores show too few ratings to display a score.
The more common complaints are waiting several days to be assigned a mailbox after paying the mailbox and notary fees, forwarding charges higher than the per-bundle price suggests, and an app that fails to log in while the website works. Telephone support operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm Pacific time, which is 10pm to 7am Hong Kong time during US daylight saving time, or 11pm to 8am otherwise.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits those with existing US banking, brokerage or tax correspondence who need a US mailing address, small business operators who need a business address and prefer not to disclose their home, and users who will keep the address for at least three months in any case. The address should be chosen on fees and allowances, not for the gift card.
It does not suit those who only want to receive US online shopping, for whom a dedicated overseas parcel forwarding service is usually more direct; those who may cancel within three months; those who need an address that can be declared as a residence; or those unable to provide a passport and English-language proof of address.
