Hong Kong shopping cashback: compare vouchers, ShopBack and tracking conditions

Compare the actual checkout cost, distinguish referral bonuses from shopping cashback, and understand the deadline for reporting missing ShopBack transactions.
Choose by total cost, rather than the headline rate
Compare the same product, delivery method and return rights at the final checkout price. Include delivery, service charges and necessary currency-conversion costs. An immediate voucher deduction has a different level of certainty from cashback that may be confirmed later.
ShopBack explains that most merchants exclude delivery, service charges and surcharges from the cashback calculation. Rates can also depend on the product category, new or existing customer status and payment method; a headline percentage may not apply to the entire bill.
Keep four reward types separate

Count only rewards supported by the applicable terms. Avoid additional spending solely to increase rewards.
ShopBack's spend requirement is separate from its cashback requirement
This referral shows HK$30. The official referee checklist requires one merchant-confirmed order over HK$120, HK$50 accumulated confirmed cashback from transactions, and updated withdrawal details. Challenges and other bonus rewards do not count towards that HK$50.
An order over HK$120 does not mean you have earned HK$50 cashback or can immediately withdraw the welcome bonus. Use the referral link or enter the code at initial registration. Eligibility and campaign conditions follow the signup screen and official help; the pages reviewed did not publish a single universal welcome deadline.

A purchase workflow that reduces tracking problems
- Read the merchant's rate categories, payment exclusions, code rules and estimated tracking time.
- Follow ShopBack's instruction to empty the basket before clicking through, then add the items again.
- Allow the necessary cookies, check whether an ad blocker prevents tracking and turn off a VPN.
- Complete the purchase on the same device without clicking other adverts or offer links along the way.
- Check the code and payment method at checkout; save the merchant terms and complete order confirmation.
- Return to ShopBack and click through afresh for every new transaction.
Taobao and Klook show why stacking needs individual checks
At the review date, ShopBack's Taobao Web terms excluded orders using red packets or codes not issued by ShopBack. ShopBack's Klook merchant page went further: any coupon or discount code makes the whole order ineligible, including automatically applied codes. Every merchant has its own conditions; even a code listed by a platform requires checking against that merchant's current rules.
Interpret the transaction status

Tracking and confirmation are different periods. Use the individual merchant's estimate.
Report missing cashback with complete evidence
- General help says most merchants take about two days to track; check the specific merchant first.
- If the record is still absent after tracking, report it within 30 days of placing the order.
- Prepare the full confirmation or screenshots showing products, order date and number, purchase and discount amounts, taxes, charges and actual payment.
- Check your ShopBack shopping visit history; without the relevant visit you may be unable to submit a claim.
- A screen asking you to return later is not a submitted report. Keep the submission confirmation and follow the support request.
Checks before withdrawing
The official withdrawal help specifies HK$50 in withdrawable transaction cashback, excluding bonus rewards, with bank-account or FPS withdrawal. This is a withdrawal condition; the HK$50 in confirmed transaction cashback required for the welcome bonus is a separate eligibility test.
The help page lists ten working days for withdrawal processing, rather than for confirming every purchase. Returns, cancellation, changes or exchanges can invalidate cashback. Budget for the purchase without relying on pending rewards to pay bills.

- Can a voucher, ShopBack and card rewards all apply?
- Each must meet the merchant, ShopBack and issuer's conditions. Codes or payment methods may be excluded, so do not assume all three rewards can coexist.
- Does spending over HK$120 unlock a withdrawable welcome bonus?
- The referee must also earn HK$50 of confirmed transaction cashback and update withdrawal details. Challenges and other bonuses do not count towards that gate.
- Should I wait until the confirmation estimate before reporting a missing order?
